Afternoon WOD: 12 minute time cap

Double-Unders / Singles: (DU) The jump rope must pass under the athletes feet twice before the athlete’s feet return to the ground. (SU) The jump rope must pass under the athlete’s feet once before the athlete’s feet return to the ground.

RX athletes MUST complete DU, Scaled athletes may choose either DU or SU, but must designate to their judge which movement will be performed prior to the WOD. Any scaled athlete choosing to complete the WOD with SU will be ranked below any scaled athlete completing the WOD with DU. Any scaled athlete choosing to complete the WOD with DU must complete two full rounds (90 double-unders and 21 thrusters) for his/her score to be considered valid, so choose wisely!

Single Arm KB Thruster: The kettlebell starts on the ground, and the athlete must elevate it into the rack position. The first rep may be a squat clean. The thruster begins when the athlete squats below parallel with the KB racked on the shoulder. The athlete may pause at the bottom of the squat, but once the ascend begins, the athlete must reach full hip, knee, and arm extension in one continuous movement. The athlete may not pause at the chest, and the athlete may not re-bend the knees. No jerks permitted. Athletes may alternate arms as needed, but is not required to alternate. There is a 5 burpee penalty to be forced immediately for any dropping of kettlebells.

Tie-break for podium decision only will be determined by times recorded at the end of the first round.
